When Will and I first decided we were going to have a DJ for our wedding entertainment we asked around for some recommendations. After screening a few “DJ’s” through the phone, we met up withBrandon and Kami from Sound Image Entertainment.

We instantly felt comfortable leaving the music in their hands. As a husband and wife team of DJ and Entertainment Coordinator they are extremely organized and genuinely interested in how you envision your wedding. I walked away from our first meeting feeling like we were going to get exactly what we were looking for.

This last week we had another meeting with Brandon and Kami to start hammering out some details of the day. As the Entertainment Coordinator, Kami walked us through building an itinerary for the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding. It includes arrival times for vendors and the wedding party, all the way through cake cutting, toasts, and dancing. It’s a detailed plan, but it’s flexible, which is exactly our style. Both Brandon and Kami helped us figure out where we would need to pick out specific songs for certain events throughout the night, and areas where we could leave it up to them. They also literally took notes about certain music we wanted to hear or not hear (I have an extreme aversion to the Beastie Boys). After the meeting Kami sent us a rough copy of the itinerary and a to-do list of music we still need to figure out. It’s all so organized!
