The wedding world has an unique, and sometimes, confusing language. If I told you, “I think your overlays would look amazing with the up-lighting especially if you add the gobo in the shape of moon-lit branches.” You might think I had started speaking in tongues. Quickies: Wedding Terms- Vintage

Almost every time I read a wedding blog post or pick up a wedding magazine I see the terms “vintage, antique and retro” used to describe a wedding’s theme. Many brides are now using these terms to describe the look and feel of their weddings. But what do these words really mean? In many cases they are being used interchangeably. Which can be a real problem when you are trying to communicate your desired theme to your wedding professionals. “I want my wedding to have a relaxed vintage feel with antique touches and a retro vibe.” HUH??
