In my day when we were planning our weddings we didn’t have a cool contest like the one at Real Weddings Magazine’s website’s new contest page. All we we could win were old, crepe paper decorations left over from a wedding in 1929 AND WE LIKED IT! We couldn’t win spa packages and engagement photography sessions. The only “spa packages” with body wraps we had were in our own backyard. After a rain we would cover ourselves in mud and wrap up in an old sheet AND WE LIKED IT! We were muddy brides wrapped up in sheets trying to hang our old crepe paper decorations at our receptions and that was the way it was and we liked it!
