The talented team of Sacramento based wedding professionals, Kate Miller Events, Flourish, and Sarah Maren Photography were tasked with creating a unique and inspiring tabletop theme that would give a wedding a memorable and creative feel.
The mid-century modern tabletop’s theme was set with a period styled white lacquered table, decorative glass bubbles, both on the table and floating above the table and a minimalistic but colorful centerpiece The vibrant color palette of shades of orange and shades of green coupled with butterflies made for a delightful and original theme.
The butterfly motif was carried out through butterfly printed napkins, bamboo place cards by Luxecuts™ laser cut in the shape of butterflies and feather butterflies accents.
Flourish designed the centerpiece of orange tulips swirled in an asymmetrical footed glass bowl. Kate Miller used glass bubbles, found at CB2, to echo the feel of the centerpiece and add a touch of whimsy. Glass globes accented with tulips, candles and more butterflies formed a modern chandelier suspended over the table top.
Modern place settings, silverware and stemless wine glasses completed the look. Cupcakes provided by Cupcakes by Esther were covered with a clear glass cloche.
Megan wore two different and stunning gowns both designed by Melissa Sweet and provided by Bella Donna Bridal Salon. Megan’s look was accessorized with a chunky glass bangle bracelet and birdcage veil accented with a butterfly. She carried a gorgeous bridal bouquet of French tulips, pincushion protea, anthurium and callas designed by Flourish.
