One of the things I love about modern Wedding Photography is how photographers are able to have fun, be creative and capture the details of the wedding day with out feeling hampered by the rules of old.
Remember the old school shot of the bride and groom’s hands stacked over the top of the bridal bouquet with their rings glinting….snore…wha? Oh sorry- feel asleep from boredom for a second there. Well, feast your eyes on some awesomely fun and totally bitchin’ wedding ring photography of today:

It used to be a Wedding Photographer wouldn’t take the shot if they did not feel that image would be later purchased by Grandma and Aunt Emily as a 8×10 to be framed and hung in the hallway at their homes. Print sales after the wedding often drove what types of images were shot on the wedding day. Now, most Wedding Photographers will give you a disc of high resolution images that you can later print at your leisure. Gone is the post-wedding print sale pressure. And that has freed up the photographers to get funky fresh with their wedding day coverage.
