When Will and I first decided we were going to have a DJ for our wedding entertainment we asked around for some recommendations. After screening a few “DJ’s” through the phone, we met up with Brandon and Kami from Sound Image Entertainment. Continue reading
I am by no means an expert at wedding planning in this stage of the game. In fact, I am sure there are lots of lessons still to be learned and there will be plenty of hindsight when all is said and done. What I can do is provide you with some insight that I have gained over the last couple of weeks about planning, delegating and utilizing reliable resources. Continue reading
Over the last few weeks, I have been trying to get somebody to meet me at our reception venue so that we could check it out post-renovation. I needed some measurements and some reinforcement of my mental map that I’ve … Continue reading

My Aunts and Grandmother made food and lent us furniture. My Dad some how came up with an honest-to-goodness blackjack table for people to play blackjack at and some of Will’s guy friends even made themselves shirts with quotes directly from the movie! Have you checked out the post by Amber about her tea staining paper doily adventures? Fun and easy! She was nice enough to send over a round up of projects involving paper doilies. Continue reading
If you are anything like me, you love DIY projects that require very little set-up, and even fewer supplies. If it requires me to special order a part or piece on-line, or make trips to five different stores for the right supplies… it probably isn’t going to happen any time soon. That simple fact is why I love paper projects. Who doesn’t have paper lying around? Continue reading
