Lake Tahoe Real Wedding
Danielle and Kris’ wedding took place at the picturesque Chinquapin resort on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The event was dreamy, romantic and stylish. Quickies: Wedding Terms- Vintage
Almost every time I read a wedding blog post or pick up a wedding magazine I see the terms “vintage, antique and retro” used to describe a wedding’s theme. Many brides are now using these terms to describe the look and feel of their weddings. But what do these words really mean? In many cases they are being used interchangeably. From a practical stand point you will be a couple of pieces closer to completing your tableware set and from a ecological stand point you are not buying something you will never use again. To add a touch of personalization tie a bit of ribbon in your wedding colors to the stem of the glasses. Continue reading
Quickies- No more pinning woes
Ask your floral designer to provide a magnet rather than a pin for securing the boutonniere. The magnet is incorporated into the back side of the boutonniere. Then all you have to do is place the boutonniere on the front of the shirt and slip the little metal disc behind the fabric. Viola! You have a perfectly secured boutonniere! Please note: the magnets should not be used on anyone with a pace maker. Continue reading
