Wedding Judgement Day- Northern California Wedding
I’m not sure if you heard, but last weekend, on April 21st, the “Rapture” was supposed to occur. Judgment Day. The end of modern times. On the same day, I received another prophetic, though slightly less dooms-day-ish email. Continue reading

How to make your own quickie photo booth- Northern California wedding blogger- Amber
We made our photo booth for our Engagement party in about twenty minutes with materials we had on hand. As I said before, it was by no means perfect technologically, but for the memory/fun factor it was one of the BEST things we did at the party. Continue reading

The Engagement Party- Real Wedding Blogger- Amber!
We finally had our engagement party. It was SO FUN! As you may remember we had given our party a theme of “The Hangover”, and boy did our family and friends take it and run. My Aunts and Grandmother made food and lent us furniture. My Dad some how came up with an honest-to-goodness blackjack table for people to play blackjack at and some of Will’s guy friends even made themselves shirts with quotes directly from the movie! Manly-Man flowers
Every once in a while I hear, “He doesn’t want to wear a boutonniere. Too girly.” Seriously. I makes me want to laugh when someone says wearing a flower will make their man less manly. All I can think about is Cary Grant. He was the epitome of suave manliness, urbane class and cutting wit. And yes, he was often seen wearing a boutonniere. Continue reading
Drawing maps to your Northern California Wedding- Real Wedding Blog by Amber
One of the small details one runs into when planning a wedding in an out of the way location is making sure everyone arrives to that location with minimal u-turns and stops at the gas station to ask for directions. While checking the directions given on the usual mapping sites (lets face it, we’ve all been given wrong instructions on how to arrive at our destination) I came across Bing.com Destination Maps. Continue reading

Hiding Two Buck Chuck- Judy Loves It!
Not all of your wedding guests will be oenophiles and expect to be delicately swirling a mouthful of 2007 Opus One as they discuss how lovely you, the bride looked in your vintage Chantilly lace gown. The average wedding guest just wants to get their buzz on! In this case, the cost per bottle of wine becomes important. Especially when you are trying to quench the thirst of 150 wedding guests.
